Hidden Room of Austin, Texas has been exploring methods to cross-breed the immediacy, interactivity, and synchronous aspects of traditional theater with the geographic and numerical scalability of traditional cinema. With Rose Rage, they are innovating a fresh way of transacting live theater across a network and the globe in multiple synchronous locations.

About Rose Rage Rose Rage is Edward Hall & Roger Warren’s thrilling adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry VI triology, cut down into an epic two-part event presented in Original Practices. Hidden Room is the first company anywhere in the world not directly associated with Propeller to have the opportunity to tackle this working of Shakespeare’s earliest historical masterpiece. Rose Rage also marks the inauguration of our Foreign Actor Exchange Program. Three actors from the UK will be rehearsing with our Austin actors via Skype, then will travel to Texas to complete our international team for the production. Actors joining us have studied at LAMDA and RADA, performed with Actors from the London Stage, the Royal Exchange, Glasgow Citizens, and the National, and have been seen on the BBC. We are very proud to welcome them inside the Hidden Room.
