Meg Swanson retired in 2011 from the University of Wisconsin in River Falls where she taught and directed. She served two terms as Department Chair and during which time she established a theatre major. She is the author of Playwrights of Color: Diversity in the American Theatre and her theatre writing has appeared in anthologies and in Theatre Topics. She also worked as an editor for a USAID project in Kosovo and wrote an English Language for Dari Speakers textbook that was published by USAID.
